Zymac Gems is owned and operated by Sonny Parkinson, who began creating fine jewellery in 1968. His interest in gemstones even had him in Australia in the 1980s, where he prospected for sapphires in Rubyvale QLD, some 290 km west of Rockhampton, as depicted in this painting of 'Sonny's Place' - Gemfields 1984 by artist Frances Rowland. |
